Scenic Warrior is yet another example of what a loss the early death of his sire Brave Warrior, was after standing only 2 seasons at stud. A nice looking grey gelding, Scenic Warrior won the Sandown Guineas as a late spring 3yo. His performances this autumn were good, although he seems a couple of lengths short of really top class. He's trained by Lee Freedman, who still has a good opinion of the horse, and it will be interesting to see what he's capable of next spring. |
