Laurie's Lottery wound up his spring 3yo campaign rated one of the leading 3yos of his year, despite not winning a Group 1 race. He was defeated in the Caulfield Guineas by Kenwood Melody, after running a brilliant race, he lost nothing in defeat. A really game little horse, Laurie's Lottery is still a good chance of coming up with a Group 1 win later in his career. A race like the Futurity or CF Orr Stakes is quite likely right up his alley.
