Juggler is affectionately known as a "giant killer", responsible for some phenomenal performances to defeat highly fancied horses on a number of occasions. He proved a particular thorn in the side of Filante, downing him on several occasions. Juggler met and defeated horses such as Saintly, Octagonal, Filante, etc. He has been a high class WFA performer who has continued to perform at the highest level, and is very popular. He was unlucky not to win the Doncaster Handicap in 1998, failing by a small margin to overhaul Catalan Opening. His toughness in a close finish is questionable, as he was bullied out of a Cox Plate by Saintly, finishing 4th as favourite after a dominant win in the Caulfield Stakes, and by Octagonal in the Australian Cup.
