Ha Ha proved to have the right qualities trainer Gai Waterhouse needed to finally win her elusive first Golden Slipper Stakes.  Owned by John "Singo" Singleton, the filly's win created scenes I've not seen before!  I'm yet to scan and post all the photographs, so the selection below won't give any indication, apart from demonstrating what a strong win it was from this talented filly.  She gave super-sire Danehill his fifth win in the Golden Slipper Stakes, and is from a three quarter sister to another Slipper winner, Rory's Jester, also a very successful sire, so her pedigree was indeed full of Slipper history.  It was lovely to see Gai win the race that her famous father TJ Smith had won 6 times, and she was full of emotion after the win.  I thought it was definitely one for the girls!
